Lead, mentor, and guide the QA team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of testing activities.
Establish testing standards, best practices, and quality processes.
Define and manage end-to-end test plans, test cases, and test cycles.
Review and validate test scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Oversee functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and expectations.
Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure defects are logged, tracked, and resolved efficiently.
Monitor and improve QA processes for better efficiency and reliability.
Implement continuous improvement practices within the QA function.
Maintain clear documentation for test cases, results, and processes.
Prepare QA metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership review.
8+ years of experience in manual testing, with at least 23 years in a managerial/lead role.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of API testing, SQL, and basic automation concepts is a plus.
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Experience in performance or security testing
Certification like ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent
