Role: QA Lead

Job Location: Pune (Next to Seasons Mall, Hadapsar Pune)
Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned QA professional with 7–8 years of experience to lead quality assurance initiatives across products. This role involves defining test strategies, driving automation, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and quality standards covering web and mobile applications (Android & iOS)
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts across multiple projects, including mobile app testing on real devices and emulators/simulators
- Lead end-to-end testing efforts across multiple projects
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks (UI/API)
- Oversee manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, system) across web, Android, and iOS platforms
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and DevOps teams
- Drive shift-left testing and quality practices early in the SDLC
- Review requirements and identify gaps or risks proactively
- Track and report defects, test metrics, and quality KPIs
- Ensure release quality through proper validation and sign-offs
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct code/test reviews
- Work closely with DevOps for CI/CD pipeline integration
- Perform API, database, and performance testing coordination
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 7–8 years of experience in software testing and QA
- Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Proven experience in test automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in test architecture or framework design
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- Experience in domains like FinTech, SaaS, or E-commerce
