Description
We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and will be responsible for leading the QA efforts for our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the QA team in testing activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop, document, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases.
- Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide QA insights.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements to the development process.
- Mentor and train junior QA team members.
- Manage test environments and ensure proper configuration for testing.
- Review and enhance existing QA processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10-14 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
