QA Lead

Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and will be responsible for leading the QA efforts for our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA team in testing activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop, document, and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide QA insights.
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend improvements to the development process.
• Mentor and train junior QA team members.
• Manage test environments and ensure proper configuration for testing.
• Review and enhance existing QA processes and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10-14 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
