Your Key Responsibilities
- You will lead the QA effort for a product, with participation in the product development, analysing requirements, building test strategy and use cases, to ensure only the tested quality product is shipped to the end users.
- Manual Testing: A key part of your responsibilities to stay in close connection with platform functionality and end users.
- System Testing: Validating core banking systems, gateways, web and mobile applications.
- Data Integrity: Ensuring accurate data migration, transaction processing, and reconciliation.
- Automation: Assisting in development of automated regression tests to handle complex, repetitive transactions.
- Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing: Setting up the environment, showing users how to use the platform, gathering issues, and tracking their resolution.
Your Skills And Experience
- Experience: 10+ years in QA, with 5+ years specifically in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
- Manual Testing: Testing skill prioritizing testing efforts based on financial risk and customer impact.
- Frameworks/Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
- Languages: Typescript / JavaScript.
- Automation framework: Any of the Playwright, Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- API/Database Testing: REST Assured, Postman, SQL, SOAP.
- Modern SDLC tools: Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity.
- Security testing: For vulnerabilities, including penetration testing and SQL injection, to protect sensitive data.
- Performance testing: Evaluating system behaviour under high load, such as month-end closing or high-volume processing.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment including agile tooling and methodology, with product release management process.
