The Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with 810+ years of hands-on testing experience to lead quality assurance initiatives across complex data-driven and healthcare applications. This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL testing, Dashboard Testing and US Healthcare domain, along with strong automation capabilities. The candidate will own end-to-end QA delivery, define test strategies, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.
Work You'll Do
- Own end-to-end QA responsibility for assigned projects, ensuring quality, coverage, and timely delivery
- Design and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with business, technical, and compliance requirements
- Perform ETL testing, data validation, and reconciliation across source systems, Snowflake, and downstream applications
- Perform dashboard testing to ensure data accuracy, KPI correctness, and overall reporting quality.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy, transformations, and business rules
- Perform end-to-end web application testing across modern browsers and devices
- Lead automation framework development and execution using Selenium / Playwright with Python or Java
- Execute and guide functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Data Engineering, DevOps, and Business stakeholders
- Identify risks early, drive defect triage, and ensure proper root cause analysis
- Mentor junior QA team members and promote QA best practices
- Ensure adherence to US Healthcare regulations, data integrity, and compliance standards
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and metrics to enhance delivery efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 810+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake (data validation, performance, query optimization)
- SQL (advanced queries, joins, aggregations, data reconciliation)
- ETL Testing (data pipelines, transformations, source-to-target validation)
- Solid experience in US Healthcare domain (claims, eligibility, providers, contracts, HIPAA awareness preferred)
- Expertise in Automation Testing using:
- Selenium and/or Playwright
- PyTest framework
- Programming language: Python or Java
- Thorough understanding of all types of testing:
- Functional & Non-functional
- Integration, Regression, System, UAT, Performance (knowledge)
- Proven ability to define and execute Test Strategy for medium to large-scale projects
- Basic understanding of dashboard testing, including validation of metrics and data consistency.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and lead QA efforts
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
