Job Description

  • Define and implement the overall QA automation strategy across multiple projects.
  • Lead and mentor a team of automation and manual QA engineers.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks for: - UI Testing (Web & Mobile - Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium). - API Testing (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, Newman). - Backend Testing (databases, microservices). - Performance Testing (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
  • Define and enforce QA best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.
  • Drive test planning, test design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Perform risk-based testing and ensure coverage for functional, regression, smoke, and performance tests.

The Successful Applicant

  • 8-12 years of total experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a QA Lead or QA Manager role.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in: - Automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
  • API automation: RestAssured, Karate, Postman (automation scripting).
  • Programming/Scripting: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • BDD/TDD frameworks: Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, Mocha.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
  • Familiarity with containerization & cloud testing (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
  • Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, qTest).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution abilities.
