QA-Inspector

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections: Perform and verify inspections of materials, fabrication (like welding and piping), and installation to ensure they meet specifications and codes.
• Verify quality control: Check that quality-related activities are performed according to standards and review contractor's quality control procedures.
• Manage documentation: Ensure all quality-related documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), are reviewed and approved, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with stakeholders: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors on all quality-related matters and coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Document non-conformances: Identify and report any deviations or defects from standards, often involving the creation of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Attend audits: Participate in both internal and external audits of the quality system.
• Perform receiving inspections: Check that incoming materials meet the required quality standards before they are used.
