Role Overview
The QA Engineers will be responsible for validating data ingestion pipelines and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data platform. The team will design and execute test strategies to verify data quality across ingestion, transformation, and data delivery layers.
QA Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases for data ingestion pipelines and data transformations.
- Validate source-to-target data mappings and business rules.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation using SQL queries.
- Identify and track defects in data processing workflows.
- Support automation of data validation scripts where applicable.
- Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in QA or ETL testing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience validating large datasets.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Databricks or Spark environments.
- Experience with data testing automation frameworks.
