Job Summary:We are seeking a results-driven Web Application and API Automation Test Engineer to design, implement, and execute robust automation strategies for web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cypress or Playwright, API testing (manual and automated), and JavaScript/TypeScript scripting, along with a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cross-browser testing, and visual regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright for web and API testing.
- Conduct manual and automated API testing using tools such as Postman and Applitools.
- Perform functional, regression, and visual testing across different browsers and devices.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Validate REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring robust functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using LambdaTest or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with Scrum teams, developers, and product managers to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage across web, API, and mobile applications.
- Work with various databases and coding programs, including JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML, and JSON.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
- Use Jira for test case management, bug tracking, and reporting.
- Participate in code reviews, provide QA process improvements, and support continuous integration of testing best practices.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and project timelines
Requirements:
- Automation Tools: Cypress or Playwright (mandatory, intermediate to expert level).
- Programming/Scripting: JavaScript or TypeScript (must have).
- API Testing: Manual and automated testing using Postman, Applitools, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
- CI/CD Tools: GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD integration experience.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
- Test Management Tools: Experience with Jira or similar reporting and tracking tools.
- Cross-Browser & Visual Testing: Experience with LambdaTest and visual regression testing tools.
- Functional API testing and mobile device testing experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, frameworks, and process best practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good To Have Skills:
- Experience with Agentforce-related tools or environments.
- Exposure cloud-based testing solutions.
- Experience with Java for scripting or framework development.
- Exposure to mobile automation testing and device compatibility testing.
- Experience integrating automation frameworks within DevOps pipelines.
- Knowledge of Objective-C, HTML, and XML/JSON data structures.
- Hands-on experience in visual regression testing and cross-browser automation frameworks.
- Ability to collaborate with device manufacturers, developers, and product teams for mobile/web optimization.
