About The Role
We're hiring a QA Engineer who does more than run test cases. You'll be the quality conscience of our product—someone who monitors its health end-to-end, spots issues before users do, and works directly with backend engineers and the data science team to get things resolved fast. We need someone who goes beyond surface-level checks (like catching 4xx/5xx errors) and has the product intuition to identify deeper functional issues: unexpected behaviour in business logic, data inconsistencies, edge cases that slip through the cracks.
What You'll Do
- Own the quality lifecycle of our product—from feature validation to production health monitoring.
- Proactively monitor product health, identify regressions, and flag issues to backend engineers and the data science team.
- Go beyond simple status-code checks: detect functional issues, data anomalies, and logic errors that automated tools miss.
- Design, build, and maintain test strategies (manual and automated) that keep pace with rapid release cycles.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and data science to define acceptance criteria and quality gates.
- Propose and drive improvements to testing processes, tooling, and coverage—don't wait to be asked.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, contribute to backlog refinement, and advocate for quality at every stage.
What You'll Need
- 2–3+ years of hands-on QA experience in a fast-moving, agile environment.
- Strong understanding of API testing, functional testing, and production monitoring.
- Ability to spot not just errors, but functional issues—you think like a user and an engineer simultaneously.
- Experience working with backend services, REST APIs, and familiarity with common data pipelines.
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset: you raise issues, propose solutions, and follow through.
- Comfort with agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), CI/CD pipelines, and rapid iteration.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills—you can articulate issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's / Master's Degree in CS / AI / ML /Data Science
