About The Role
We're hiring a
QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of our AI-powered financial products. You'll work closely with full stack, backend, and AI teams to test complex workflows, catch issues early, and make sure what we ship actually works in the real world.
This role sits right at the intersection of speed and stability. You move fast, but you do not let things break.
What You'll Do
- End-to-End Ownership: Own quality assurance for core product features from ideation to production.
- Manual Testing: Perform thorough testing for UI, complex workflows, edge cases, and regressions.
- Automation: Build and maintain scalable automation tests for high-impact and repeatable user flows.
- API & Backend: Test APIs, backend logic, and data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
- Financial Validation: Validate financial workflows, user permissions, and multi-step user journeys.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with engineers during development—not just at release time—to identify risks early.
- Bug Management: Log clear, actionable bugs and track them through resolution using Jira or Linear.
- Quality Gate: Support release sign-offs and act as the final quality gate before anything goes live.
Our Stack (Preferred But Not Mandatory)
- Frontend: React.js, Next.js
- Backend / APIs: Node.js, Python (FastAPI or Django)
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Automation: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium
- API Testing: Postman, REST APIs
- Infra Exposure: AWS/GCP, CI/CD basics
What You'll Bring
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on QA experience in web-based or fintech environments.
- Foundations: Strong understanding of STLC, functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Scripting: Hands-on exposure to UI automation, writing scripts in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience testing REST APIs, data flows, and authentication mechanisms.
- Autonomy: Ability to independently design test cases and scenarios in high-ownership teams.
- Mindset: A quality-first mindset; you speak up when something feels off and take full responsibility for the product.
