We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Perform regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing as required.
- Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-8 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
