Job Summary
We are looking for a
mid-level QA Engineer with strong Salesforce functional testing experience and MuleSoft integration validation exposure. The role involves ensuring end-to-end quality of Salesforce applications and MuleSoft-based integrations by validating business workflows, data integrity, and system behavior across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Review business requirements, user stories, and integration specifications
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data for Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations
- Perform manual and functional testing on Salesforce applications including:
- Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
- Custom Objects, Fields, Page Layouts
- Workflows, Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes
- Validate Salesforce MuleSoft integrations for:
- Data mapping and transformations
- API request and response payloads
- Error handling, retries, and exception scenarios
- Perform end-to-end integration testing involving upstream and downstream systems
- Execute regression testing during sprint and release cycles
- Perform data validation using Salesforce UI, SOQL queries, and MuleSoft logs
- Use tools like Postman / SoapUI for API validation
- Log, track, and retest defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps / HP ALM
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers, MuleSoft developers, BAs, and product owners
- Support UAT cycles and assist with production validation if required
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must Have
- 47 years of overall QA experience
- 2+ years of Salesforce functional testing experience
- Hands-on experience validating MuleSoft-based integrations
- Good understanding of:
- REST and SOAP APIs
- JSON and XML payloads
- Integration flows and data mappings
- Strong experience in manual and functional testing
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM)
- Good communication and coordination skills
Good to Have
- Salesforce certifications (Admin / Platform App Builder)
- MuleSoft exposure (Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio basic knowledge)
- Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Provar, MUnit basic)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Experience working in onshoreoffshore delivery models
