Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Engineer with expertise in automation testing using BDD frameworks and strong knowledge of Java, API testing, and performance testing using JMeter. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end testing of REST APIs, working in DevOps environments, and supporting production deployments. A good understanding of ePAAS, data projects, and related DevOps tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation and Functional Testing:

• Understand user stories and write automation BDD scripts to fulfill QA requirements
• Perform API testing including end-to-end validation of RESTful services
• Validate Swagger documentation and test third-party API integrations
• Test JSON and YAML-based payloads for functionality and accuracy

Performance and Integration Testing:

• Use JMeter to perform basic performance testing
• Analyze logs and identify issues during QA testing phases
• Support testing activities related to data validation and stored procedures

DevOps and CI/CD:

• Work with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and Postman for QA automation
• Support production deployments and post-deployment validations
• Collaborate within Agile/DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and release cycles

Mandatory Skills:

• BDD Frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
• Java 8
• SQL (Basic understanding of queries and stored procedures)
• API Functional Testing (Swagger, REST)
• JMeter

Desired / Secondary Skills:

• Tools: IntelliJ, Postman, Jenkins, GitHub, Confluence, Splunk
• Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Understanding of ePAAS and one data projects

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
