We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Software Engr with a strong background in DevOps to join our team at Sparta Systems. The ideal candidate will optimize our deployment processes, ensure smooth software delivery, and mentor junior team members, leveraging their expertise in version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other similar tools.
- Oversee version control practices, ensuring proper code management using Git and related repositories.
- Manage software packaging processes with tools like InstallShield, Basic MSI, and Install Script.
- Create and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or equivalent scripting languages to streamline operations.
- Integrate cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to enhance deployment and infrastructure management.
- Utilize project management and requirements tracking tools like Jira or Rally to facilitate effective workflow and task completion.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and DevOps staff to foster professional development and knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in various environments including development, testing, and production.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement within the DevOps processes.
Skills Requirement:
- Strong expertise in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with software packaging tools such as InstallShield, Basic MSI, and Install Script.
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and other scripting languages.

QUALIFICATION:
