Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Java and Selenium, along with domain knowledge in banking and loan processing systems. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java & Selenium
- Analyze business requirements, especially related to banking and loan workflows
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy creation
- Ensure test coverage and maintain documentation (test cases, reports, etc.)
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- Strong experience in Java programming
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with TestNG / JUnit
- Familiarity with Maven / Gradle
- Knowledge of API testing (REST, tools like Postman/RestAssured)
- Experience with Git or version control systems
- Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Experience in test case design and execution
- Good defect tracking and reporting skills
Domain Expertise
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services
- Knowledge of Loan Lifecycle (origination, underwriting, disbursement, repayment)
- Understanding of compliance and data-sensitive applications is a plus
