Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding the quality and reliability of our SaaS platform as it scales. You will own end-to-end testing from manual exploratory testing to building robust automation frameworks and work closely with developers and product managers to ship high-quality software, fast.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Python and Playwright, a solid grounding in API testing, and a proactive mindset toward quality. If you thrive in a fast-paced product environment and care deeply about the user experience, we'd love to meet you.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications to ensure functional correctness and an excellent user experience.
- Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive functional and regression test cases aligned with product requirements.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Playwright, and Pytest.
- Perform API automation testing using Python's Requests library, ensuring integrations are reliable and performative.
- Prepare and manage test plans, test data, test cases, and test environments.
- Execute test cycles, log defects clearly in the tracking system, and rigorously verify fixes.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA peers to define quality standards and acceptance criteria.
- Use Git for version control of all test scripts and automation assets.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to enable continuous quality feedback.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, tooling, and best practices as the platform evolves.
Skills & Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Manual & Functional Testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Python + Playwright + Pytest for web automation.
- Solid understanding of API testing and automation (Python Requests library).
- Familiarity with Git (version control) and Jenkins (CI/CD).
- Sound knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Mobile automation testing experience (Android/iOS Appium or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Agile & Scrum practices.
- Exposure to property management or fintech/SaaS domain knowledge.
