Job Description

ONLY APPLY IF:

CTC: 3-5 LPA

Location: Noida (On-site, 5 days/week)

Minimum 12 years of relevant experience is required.

Start: Immediate - within 15 days.

Audria is building the next generation of personal computing; a discreet, always-available AI device worn behind the ear. It understands your real-world context and helps you proactively, in real time.

We're a small, fast team working on a hard technical problem: seamless, low-friction voice interaction through a dedicated hardware device paired with an iPhone app and a growing set of APIs. This role is foundational ; you will own product quality end-to-end;especially for our early API surface and app flows; helping us ship confidently, every release.

This is not a checkbox testing role. You'll build the quality muscle for a zero-to-one product: crisp test coverage, ruthless prioritization, high-signal bug reports, and tight coordination with developers to drive fixes and RCAs.

What You'll Own

  • Own manual testing for Audria's early releases across APIs + iOS app flows, ensuring each release is stable, functional, and polished.
  • Build and maintain a test strategy: smoke, regression, exploratory, edge-case coverage, and release sign-off criteria.
  • Design high-quality test cases using analytical techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, boundary testing) to maximize coverage with minimal redundancy.
  • Perform deep API testing (Postman/cURL): request/response validation, auth, error handling, pagination, idempotency expectations, performance sanity, and integration flows.
  • Own bug reporting quality: clear repro steps, expected vs actual, logs, screenshots/videos, severity/priority, and tight follow-up to closure.
  • Coordinate with developers for RCA, validate fixes, and prevent regressionsacting as the final quality gate before release.
  • Help debug product issues by capturing network traces and device behavior (e.g., Charles/Proxyman, device logs, TestFlight builds).

What We're Looking For

  • Strong manual QA fundamentals: requirement analysis, test planning, writing test cases, execution, defect lifecycle, and release readiness.
  • You can think like an investigator: What can break and What's the smallest test set that catches the most risk
  • Solid experience testing APIs and backend-driven product flows.
  • Comfortable testing mobile app flows (iOS), including network variability, background/foreground transitions, and real-device behavior.
  • Strong communication: you collaborate tightly with developers to drive fast RCAs and fixes (without hand-holding).
  • You move fast, learn quickly, and care deeply about building a delightful, trustworthy product.

Nice to Have

  • Basic automation exposure (even if not your primary focus today): e.g., Postman collections, simple scripts, or UI automation familiarity.
  • Familiarity with QA tooling: Jira/Linear, TestRail-style test management, crash reporting, log/trace reading.
  • Experience testing hardware-adjacent products (Bluetooth devices, streaming/audio, realtime systems).

Why Audria

You'll be a founding QA hire ; shaping the quality bar, release process, and how we build trust with users from day one. You'll work closely with the founder and engineers on a highly ambitious consumer-tech problem involving hardware, AI, and real-time interaction.

  • If you want to join early, own outcomes end-to-end, and build a product that feels magical when it worksand rock-solid every daythis is it.
