This role offers the chance to ensure high-quality software delivery for web and mobile applications in a fully remote, collaborative environment. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and UX designers to create and execute automated test plans that validate functionality, performance, and security. The position emphasizes hands-on testing using modern frameworks like Cypress and Appium, along with API and database verification. You will play a critical role in improving software reliability, supporting product enhancements, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute system test cases for web-based and mobile applications.
- Create and implement test plans, set up test environments, and execute scripts for database and API testing.
- Validate end-to-end functionality and enhancements, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and business issues through strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, Project Managers, and UX Designers, to solve complex challenges.
- Implement and refine automated testing solutions using frameworks such as Cypress and Appium.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of QA engineering experience, or 6+ years of equivalent experience without a degree.
- 3+ years of programming experience in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- 2+ years of web automation experience using page object modeling (POM) and proficiency with Cypress.
- Experience in API testing for web, backend, and mobile applications using REST/RestAssured and Microservices.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as MySQL, Postman, and Eclipse IDE.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred: experience in e-commerce, mobile automation with Appium, WebDriver IO + Mocha + Chai, and Selenium/Cucumber.
