Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer II to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our Customer Data Platform (CDP). As a QA Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with our development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the CDP platform.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the platform meets business requirements and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality and testability.
- Automate test cases using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
- BTECH in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with exp (4-6) years of experience as a QA Engineer in Security Testing
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer, preferably in a CDP or data-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with CDP platforms such as Treasure Data, Amperity, mParticle, or Adobe Experience Platform.
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
