Our newly-embedded Salesforce team plays an incredibly important role in enabling high impact marketing activities, managing our sales pipelines, and understanding our key relationships. They continually build out business processes on the platform, take advantage of much more of its capabilities and ensure the platform is sustainable for years to come.

The Role
We're looking for a meticulous Salesforce Quality Analyst to join our growing Salesforce team and drive the effective implementation and utilisation of our Salesforce CRM platform. You'll ensure the functionality and performance of our Salesforce platform by conducting rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
In this role, you will collaborate with developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies, create test cases, and validate that Salesforce solutions meet the required standards and business needs. Your work will ensure that all Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations function properly and that defects are identified and resolved before deployment.
The role will report into the CRM Platform Lead.

Responsibilities
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand Salesforce requirements and business processes.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Salesforce features, customizations, integrations, and system upgrades.
- Ensure test coverage for both new and existing functionality, including custom objects, workflows, Lightning components, and Apex classes.
Test Case Development And Execution
- Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify edge cases and ensure that Salesforce solutions are validated for a wide range of use cases.
Defect Management
- Document and report defects, issues, and bugs using tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla, and work closely with the development team to prioritize and resolve them. Re-test and validate that defects have been properly addressed and resolved in subsequent builds.
- Maintain clear documentation of all testing activities, test results, and issues identified.
Automation Testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Provar, or Tosca to streamline regression testing and improve test efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to automate testing processes, ensuring scalable and repeatable quality assurance practices.
Integration Testing
- Validate the integration of Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications, ensuring smooth data exchange and system performance.
- Test API integrations, web services, and data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and functional accuracy.
UAT Support And Coordination
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test environments, guiding users through the testing process, and capturing feedback.
- Ensure that end-user needs are met by validating that Salesforce solutions align with business expectations and provide a positive user experience.
Performance And Security Testing
- Perform performance testing to ensure that Salesforce solutions can handle expected traffic and data volumes without degradation.
- Test Salesforce security features, including profiles, roles, sharing settings, and field-level security, to ensure proper access control and data protection.
Release And Deployment Support
- Participate in release management processes by validating changes in staging and production environments.
- Work with development teams to ensure a smooth transition from development to production, minimizing any potential downtime or issues.
Documentation And Reporting
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation of testing activities, including test scripts, test results, defects, and resolutions.
- Provide regular reports and updates to project managers and stakeholders on the quality of Salesforce releases and ongoing issues.
Your Skills And Experience - Required
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) as this is the working language within the business group.
- 4+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing, preferably with Salesforce platforms.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, workflows, security settings, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, Provar, or similar).
- Familiarity with automation testing for Salesforce environments is a plus. Experience in both manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications. Understanding of Salesforce updates and release management processes.
- Additional tools you should have familiarity with would include: Atlassian JIRA & Confluence , Microsoft Office Suite (MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations and compliance standards.
