Job Description

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled QA Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on manual and automation testing of Web Services/API, performing Batch and Database Testing, and creating test data for testing as applicable. The role involves coordinating with teams across different locations, monitoring adherence to test standards, guidelines, and testing methodology, and following the defect management lifecycle specified in the testing approach.

Job Title: QA Tester

Responsibilities

Perform hands-on manual/automation testing of Web Services/API.
Conduct Batch and Database Testing.
Create test data for testing as applicable.
Coordinate with teams across different locations.
Monitor adherence to test standards, guidelines, and testing methodology.
Log defects in JIRA according to the Client's defect management lifecycle.
Raise project dependencies and risks to the Project Manager on time.
Publish daily and weekly reports to project stakeholders.
Utilize Automation tools and solutions as appropriate.

Required Skills

Proven experience in manual and automation testing.
Familiarity with Batch and Database Testing.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to adhere to test standards and guidelines.
Proficiency in defect management tools like JIRA.
Excellent reporting skills.
Knowledge of Automation tools and solutions.

Desirable Skills

Experience in testing Web Services/API.
Familiarity with testing methodologies.
Knowledge of different Automation tools.

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
