Job Title- QA Engineer
This will be a T&M role working in night shift from India to cover US PST business hours (9:00 AM PST to 5:00 PM PST). This will be a full night shift (9:30 PM IST to 5:30 AM IST) for the person working from India.
Experience: 4 to 10 years
Job Description:
Consultant responsibilities include:
•Design, develop, and implement automation framework in support of SW Projects
•Develop Automation scripts for test cases as determined by each Project sprint cycle
•Support the execution, analysis, and maintenance of CI/CD regression
•Develop and review test cases and test scripts, report product issues, update sprint tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
•Execute manual test cases to validate application functionality and ensure high-quality releases.
•Run regression test suites, analyze failures, and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent test pass rates.
•Maintain and update test cases, ensuring accurate test status and coverage at all times.
Required Skills & Experience:
•Hands-on experience with test automation using Playwright and TypeScript (preferred), or strong experience in at least one programming language with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
•Solid understanding of manual testing concepts, including test case design, execution, and defect management.
•Experience using Visual Studio Code as a primary development environment.
•Proficiency with version control systems, particularly GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
•Experience executing and maintaining regression test suites, including failure analysis and debugging.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using CircleCI, for automated test execution.
•Excellent Communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Good understanding of application workflows and ability to validate end-to-end scenarios.
