Job Description:

As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with developers to ensure high-quality software releases. Your responsibility will be to contribute to the development of robust testing strategies, automate repetitive tasks, and continuously improve QA processes to deliver exceptional software experiences.

You will need some level of experience in testing with Playwright and Single Page Application frameworks like ReactJS/Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate software functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and design effective test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document software defects.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
• Conduct regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
• Analyze and report on software quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of software development and testing processes.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging QA technologies.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Software QA Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in testing with Playwright and Single Page Application frameworks like ReactJS/Angular.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with performance testing tools.
• Playwright and Single Page Application frameworks like ReactJS/Angular
• Experience with Cypress.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for test automation.
• Experience in Life Science and Health care domain.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
