Job Description
We are looking for a detailoriented QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases
Execute manual test cases for functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved as per acceptance criteria
Prepare and maintain test documentation (test plans, test cases, test reports)
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives
Perform smoke and sanity testing on new builds
Ensure adherence to quality standards and processes
Support test execution for releases and production deployments
Technical Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
Handson experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
Good understanding of functional, regression, system, integration, and UAT testing
Experience using defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, HP ALM, etc.)
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI) is a plus
Exposure to test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, qTest) is an advantage
