QA Automation - Senior Engineer

Job Description

. 5+ years hands on experience in Software Automation Testing with Selenium, Cucumber and Karate
. Excellent expertise in API Automation, UI Automation using Selenium + Cucumber, and Karate
. 2+ years experience using SQL
. Thorough understanding of Test Management and Defect Management processes
. Good experience in load testing.
. Good experience in manual QA testing.
. Good domain experience in Financial Services - Investment Banking, Investment Management
. In-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies
. Good experience in testing multi-tiered complex financial applications
. Create, maintain and update test scenarios and test cases based on the requirement specifications
. Troubleshoot issues in automated test scripts
. Report results of automated and manual tests
. Report issues and anomalies in the issue tracking system
. Review QA project artefacts including Test scenarios, Test Scripts, Defect reports and Status reports
. Excellent knowledge in integration with upstream and downstream processes and systems
. Ensure compliance to establish standards, quality goals and other defined processes
. Ability to navigate through complex environment, meeting stakeholders, converging ideas into concrete plans
. Self-driven, be able to work independently with minimum supervision
. Solution oriented individual with excellent communication and analytical skills
. Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
