About Quash
Quash is the AI-powered co-pilot for mobile QA. Our platform turns design files, PRDs, and code diffs into self-healing test suites that run on real devices, catch crashes, and explain root causes, so teams ship flawless apps in record time. Born in Bengaluru, we're a fast, user-obsessed crew blending deep mobile expertise with cutting-edge LLM and computer-vision research.
Role Overview
Our AI agents write and run the tests; you bring real-world battle scars. As a part-time domain expert you will:
- Speak the language of enterprise QA leads during sales / onboarding calls.
- Stress-test our roadmap with worst-case mobile-testing scenarios.
- Reassure client POCs that Quash aligns with industry best practice.
- Occasionally design or audit test suites for marquee customers.
Time commitment: 12 hrs per week (mix of scheduled calls and async reviews). You may keep a full-time role elsewheresubject to standard conflict-of-interest clauses.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory Join discovery & onboarding calls; translate Quash's AI magic into QA-manager lingo, handle objections, chart migration paths.
- Domain Research & Ideation Surface edge-cases in mobile automation (device fragmentation, OS drift, flake triage) and help prioritise features.
- Standards & Best Practice Maintain an internal wiki of frameworks, coverage heuristics, and compliance checklists (ISO, SOC2, accessibility).
- White-Glove Interventions For high-stakes accounts, design PoCs or quick-fix scripts that showcase Quash alongside Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, Detox, etc.
- Thought Leadership Co-author blogs, webinars, or conference decks that cement Quash's AI leadership in mobile QA.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years owning mobile test automation at scale.
- Deep fluency with Appium and one native stack (Espresso / XCUITest / WebdriverIO / Detox).
- Proven record presenting to customers, auditors, or execs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins), device farms, and flake-analysis tooling.
- Ability to give crisp, diplomatic feedback to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior consultant / SDET stint for a Mobile App company.
- Experience with AI-driven or self-healing frameworks.
- Conference speaking, OSS maintainer, or published testing research.
