About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
QA Automation Engineer with 24 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks
to ensure product quality, performance, and reliability across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Implement and maintain robust automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, inconsistencies, or performance issues.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving automation best practices.
- Document defects clearly and work closely with development teams for timely resolutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integrations using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Ensure test processes align with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 24 years of hands-on QA Automation experience.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Good understanding of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Experience in testing microservices-based architectures.
