Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated
QA Engineer with strong experience in
Java Script/Type Script with Playwright or Selenium with Java/Python to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java Script/Type Script with Playwright or Selenium with Java/Python
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards.
- Design, build, and implement test frameworks and tools for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and verify bug fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for test automation.
- Continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes.
- Ensure proper documentation of test cases, plans, and reports.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing using Java Script/Type Script with Playwright or Selenium with Java/Python.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Test Engineer with a focus on automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java Script/Type Script with Playwright or Selenium with Java/Python
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests in the pipeline (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with debugging, logging, and troubleshooting test failures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or REST-assured.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
