We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer (4+ years experience) to build and execute automation tests, identify bugs, and ensure high-quality applications. The role involves working with developers, using automation tools, and supporting smooth software releases.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks and scripts
Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables
Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tracking tools
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of applications
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman/Rest Assured
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning
Improve testing processes and ensure adherence to QA best practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing
Strong experience in automation tools like Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java / Python / JavaScript
Experience in API testing (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Nice To Have
Experience in performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
