You will be a handson QA Automation Engineer specializing in .NET (C#) automation and Azure DevOps who ensures high reliability, scalability, and release confidence for enterprise applications. You'll combine strong manual testing judgment with robust automation to drive early defect detection, streamline CI/CD quality gates, and continuously improve testability across the delivery lifecycle.
Our Team
You will join a crossfunctional QA and DevOps-aligned team focused on delivering cloud-hosted enterprise applications on Azure. The team partners closely with product owners, development, and platform engineers to embed quality early, accelerate release cadence, and maintain operational stability.
What You Will Do
- Define and champion test strategy and plans that align with business goals and release timelines, prioritizing critical workflows and risk areas
- Own functional, integration, regression, and UAT quality for assigned applications and releases to ensure production readiness
- Design, build, and maintain scalable .NET (C#) automation frameworks for UI and API test suites to reduce manual regression effort
- Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and enforce quality gates that improve release confidence
- Execute exploratory and negative testing to uncover edge cases and provide actionable defect reports with root cause insights
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to shift testing left, increasing early defect detection and faster feedback loops
- Monitor test stability and pipeline failures, driving improvements to test reliability, reporting, and root-cause remediation
- Maintain test artifacts, dashboards, and evidence in Azure DevOps to support release readiness and quality metrics
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 4+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Handson experience building and maintaining test automation using .NET (C#)
- Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation and API testing using HttpClient or RestSharp
- Familiar with unit/test frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit and Git-based source control (Azure Repos / GitHub)
- Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Boards) and Agile/SDLC concepts
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with BDD frameworks (SpecFlow / Gherkin) and writing executable specifications
- Exposure to performance testing tools or performance testing concepts
- Basic knowledge of security testing principles and OWASP risks
- Hands-on experience with frontend test tools like Playwright or Cypress, or testing modern UI components (e.g., Power Apps Component Framework)
- Experience with SQL Server or database verification and test data management
- Prior experience testing Azure-hosted enterprise platforms and integrations, and contributing to release dashboards and quality metrics
