We are looking for a Mobile Automation Testing Engineer with 1+ year of hands-on experience in automating Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate will focus exclusively on mobile UI automation, working closely with product and development teams to ensure high-quality mobile releases.
This role is purely focused on mobile automation testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
- Implement and execute automated tests using Appium for cross-platform mobile testing.
- Work with native mobile automation frameworks such as Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS) as needed.
- Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines to ensure faster and reliable mobile releases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand mobile features and test requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects related to mobile UI, usability, and functionality.
- Use test reporting tools to analyze test results and improve test coverage.
- Perform testing on real devices and emulators/simulators using cloud-based mobile testing platforms.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring test scenarios align with mobile user stories and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1+ year of hands-on experience in mobile automation testing.
- Strong experience with Appium for Android and iOS automation.
- Working knowledge of Espresso (Android) and/or XCUITest (iOS) is a plus.
- Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bitrise, or CircleCI).
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Good understanding of Git / Bitbucket for version control.
- Experience with test reporting tools like Allure, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Strong understanding of mobile QA best practices and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in BFSI / Fintech domain is a plus.
