QA Automation Engineer

The candidate should be responsible to work with business analysts, Software Engineers, Architects, business users and design implement software for Release Automation being implemented. The candidate will be responsible to understand the automation test strategy/plan. Proactively identify all the automation pre-requisites. Need to work with the automation architects and senior test leads and manage, continuously Improve Test Automation Framework. Need to provide the necessary inputs during framework design planning. Perform analysis/review the test cases and identify/prioritize the ones which can be automated/which cannot be automated based on the business need. Health care domain knowledge is an added advantage.

Must have skills

• 5 - 8 years of Experience in Selenium using Java, API automation using Postman
• Knowledge on Core Java fundamentals, Object Oriented concepts. Work experience is desirable in Java or any other programming languages
• Experience in an Agile/ SCRUM development environment/process
• Should have experience in writing test scripts for Selenium using Java or other any programming languages.
• Ensure that the deliverables are delivered as per the plan/agreed upon SLAs
• Understand the coding guidelines and ensure that the team is very well trained on these guidelines
• Review the estimates provided by the team and ensure that the estimates are provided using the defined estimation criteria
• Ensure that there is no delay happens while actual execution of the sprint/project starts
• Closely work with Manual team and understand the test cases/business rules/error messages/scenarios/end to end business processes
• Ensure that the traceability is maintained with respect to manual test cases, user stories for a better automation coverage
• Develop, Verify & Validate Test Automation Scripts using Selenium
• Perform the review of the scripts created by the team and ensure that the review comments are discussed and closed.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis for all the script issues/coverage and provide the report with the required stakeholders
• Design & Document Test Data & Environment for Test Automation
• Generate Test Reports for specific test cycles/sprints
• Perform the review of the defects and ensure that the proper defect guidelines are followed as agreed upon with the client.
• Should have excellent communication skills (Speaking/Writing/Presentation)
