Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript and hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in web and API testing and a good understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA processes, and Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using JavaScript.
- Work with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
- Perform Web application testing and API testing across various environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA members to define and refine testing requirements.
- Ensure high-quality test coverage by identifying gaps and enhancing automation scripts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Utilize Git/GitHub for version control, branching, and code reviews.
- Document test scenarios, results, and defects clearly and accurately.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Mandatory).
- Proven hands-on experience in QA Automation.
- Expertise with one or more automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
- Good understanding of Web and API testing tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for code management.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
