Job description:
- Good understanding of testing concepts/process, defect cycle and hands-on on manual & automation testing
- Must have basic knowledge of Pre & Post of LS-Dyna, Ansys, Meshing, Nastran, and equivalent software's.
- Functional testing, GUI testing,
- Good to have FEA/CAE knowledge.
- Creation of manual test cases and automation test cases.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with the Product Owner/QA Manager/Development leads to understand release scope and define adequate testing coverage.
- Analyse and test the software to ensure that products are fit for the purpose and are within total quality management limits and standards.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and software development teams to build highly reliable manual and automated test cases.
- Basic knowledge of JIRA, Bug tracker, Scrum, Agile technology.
Education:
- B.Tech/B.E./ME/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
Must have:
- Required Professional degree in Engineering discipline with 4 to 6 years of professional experience in software testing and automation.
