The Senior Technical Lead is responsible for technical ownership and leadership of the data platform. This role defines architecture, guides implementation, and ensures scalability, performance, and reliability of Python-based data solutions deployed on cloud-native infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical design of data platform solutions.
- Define standards and best practices for Python development.
- Design orchestration and data pipelines using Prefect and DBT.
- Architect data storage and processing using Delta Lake.
- Define distributed query patterns using Trino.
- Design secure and scalable storage using Azure Storage Accounts.
- Lead Kubernetes-based deployment and runtime strategies.
- Ensure optimal usage of PostgreSQL and SQL standards.
- Mentor teams and review architecture and code.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on and leadership experience in Python (primary skill).
- Deep expertise in Prefect, DBT, and data orchestration.
Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Engineering/ Computer Science
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Azure Storage Account, Delta Lake, Trino, Kubernetes, Postgres
- Python (Prefect, DBT), SQL
