Python SDET - Senior Engineer

Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking skilled SDETs (5-7 Year of experience) with strong Python, SQL, and ETL testing expertise to support QE Transformation across Enterprise Risk applications. The role focuses on automation scale, reusable utilities, and AI-assisted QE.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

. Strong Python programming for data validation and automation
. Advanced SQL (joins, transformations, reconciliation logic)
. Ability to interpret mapping/TSD documents and derive test scenarios

Good to Have

. ETL/Data Warehouse testing across ingestion, staging, and target layers
. Experience with schema/DDL validation, table-to-table comparisons
. AI tools (GitHub Copilot) for script acceleration
. AWS, Redshift, Netezza familiarity

Key Responsibilities

. Accelerate automation across ER applications
. Convert high-volume regression scenarios into Python-based automation
. Identify high-ROI test scenarios for automation

. Extend utilities where feasible
. Build shared utilities (table comparator, SQL generator, DDL validator)

. Use Copilot for SQL/script generation
. Generate automated coverage & stability reports

Soft Skills

. Strong analytical & debugging capability
. Ability to operate in data-intensive, fast-paced environments
. Effective communication with cross-functional teams
