About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Python applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, along with experience in software development methodologies.

We are building out our Python development capability transition from a consultant led team to an in-house team, which will provide opportunities for influence and impact in shaping the team and products.

We are building several products ranging from web applications to data processing with a view to add AI/ML in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications, following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
• Mentoring other team members
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with the latest Python technologies and industry trends.
  
  

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development, ideally someone looking to take more responsibility.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and data structures.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Python Frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask or others)
• Experience with relational databases and good understanding of database design
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g, Git)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work in the office in Pune, India (5 days a week)
• Amenable to work 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM IST
