Role Overview
We're looking for a PythonAzure Developer with strong APIintegration experience to build scalable, cloudnative backend platforms on Azure. This is an APIfirst role focused on developing highperformance services that power AIenabled enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
API Development (Core)
- Build and maintain productiongrade REST APIs using FastAPI (mandatory).
- Implement secure, scalable, welldocumented APIs with robust auth, validation, and versioning.
- Integrate internal/external systems, including AI and data platforms.
Python Backend
- Develop clean, testable backend services using Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django/Quart).
- Support synchronous & async workflows.
Azure Cloud
- Deploy services using Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security for cloudhosted APIs.
AI Integrations
- Collaborate with AI teams to expose AI features via APIs.
- Work on rapidly evolving AIenabled backend capabilities.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Build CI/CD pipelines; automate deployments.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform; scripting via PowerShell.
Required Skills
- 58 years experience in software development.
- Strong Python skills + mandatory FastAPI production experience.
- Solid REST API fundamentals.
- Handson Azure experience (Web Apps, Functions, SQL, Data Factory, Synapse).
- CI/CD experience + Terraform + scripting knowledge.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to AI/ML APIs, React.js, multicloud, dataintensive systems, and Tier1 enterprise platforms.
