We are seeking a Python Backend Developer to work on-site in India, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance web applications and microservices. This is your chance to contribute to mission-critical projects and accelerate your career in a technology-driven environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using Python and Django/Flask frameworks.
- Implement secure and scalable RESTful APIs to support web and mobile front ends.
- Collaborate with product owners, front-end developers, and QA to gather requirements and deliver features on schedule.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and caching strategies for low-latency response times.
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and best practices.
- Deploy and monitor applications in on-premises or cloud environments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python backend development.
- Proficiency with Django or Flask frameworks and building microservices.
- Strong knowledge of REST API design, JSON, and API security best practices.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review tools.
- Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment and troubleshooting server issues.
Preferred
- Exposure to async tasks and message brokers (Celery, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code.
