About this opportunity:

We're hiring a AI Agent Developer to help design, build, and operate scalable Kubernetesbased systems and internal developer tooling. You'll partner with product managers, designers, SREs, and crossfunctional teams to turn product goals into reliable, secure, and maintainable platform services. You'll own components from design through deployment and run them in production.

What you will do:

- Architect, design, implement, test, and ship productiongrade services and automation using cloudnative patterns (Kubernetes, containers, GitOps).

- Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs with emphasis on performance, reliability, security, and operational simplicity.

- Author and maintain Kubernetes artifacts manifests, Helm charts, Operators/CRDs to automate lifecycle management.

- Implement and continuously improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows (builds, image registries, scanning/signing, deployment pipelines).

- Mentor and coach junior/mid engineers; contribute to hiring, onboarding, and knowledge sharing.

The skills you bring:

- 5+ years professional software development experience (or equivalent).

- Strong Python expertise used to build production services, libraries, and automation.

- Handson experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes (deployments, services, RBAC, networking, storage).

- Familiarity with CI/CD and GitOps tooling and pipeline authoring (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD/Flux). Knowledge in Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry etc.

- Hands on AI Agent Developements

- Strong understanding of cloud and container security best practices (image scanning, secrets management, network policies).

- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem solving, and mentoring skills.

- Technical expectations in Backend, API design, Containerization technologies to shape and operate a modern cloud-native platform

Nicetohave:

- Experience developing Kubernetes Operators (Go or Python) and working directly with the Kubernetes API/controller patterns.

- Familiarity with service meshes (Istio etc)

- Background in SRE, platform engineering, or building developer selfservice platforms.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: B.E, BTech, MCA or Similar
• Minimum years of relevant Experience: 3 to 5+years for Developer and Senior Roles
• Location - only Chennai
