About the Role
We are looking for talentedData Engineerswith46 years of hands-on experienceto join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise inPythonandAzure Databricks, with a passion for building scalable data pipelines and enabling advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalableETL pipelinesanddata workflows.
- Work extensively withAzure Databricksfor data processing, transformation, and integration.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code inPythonfor data engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Analytics, and Product) to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and business-ready.
- Optimize performance of data pipelines and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance best practices.
Must-Have Skills
- 46 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong programming skills inPython(data manipulation, automation, libraries like Pandas, PySpark).
- Proven hands-on experience withAzure Databricksfor data engineering use cases.
- Solid understanding ofETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and big data frameworks.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure toAzure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps practices in a data environment.
- Experience with real-time data processing tools (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.).
