Python Backend Developer

Roles and Responsibility

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient backend systems using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Develop and maintain large-scale applications using Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of Python programming language and its ecosystem.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with root science tools like Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, or NumPy is a plus.
• Knowledge of Generative AI relevant frameworks and techniques is a plus.
• HSBC working experience is a plus.
