Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Python API Tester with 6+ years of experience in API automation testing, preferably in the telecom domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute API test scripts using Python.
- Validate RESTful APIs, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Build automated test frameworks and maintain regression test suites.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to closure.
- Ensure compliance with telecom industry standards and protocols.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Python for API test automation.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Swagger, REST Assured.
- Familiarity with PyTest or Robot Framework.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).
- Proficient in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
- Knowledge of telecom protocols (advantageous).
- Good understanding of version control tools (Git).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in telecom projects or telecom billing systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter is a plus.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
