Job Title: AI and ML (AI/ML) Python Developer
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced AI and ML Python Developer to join our team at Jindal Stainless Steel, a globally recognized leader in the stainless steel industry. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of Python applications across various domains. This role offers a blend of Data Analytics, AI and ML, DevOps, Cloud Development, Web Development, and application building, making it ideal for someone passionate about using Python for diverse tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and data science to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient Python applications for AI and ML, as well as web applications that integrate with cloud services
- Utilize web development frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) to build user-facing interfaces
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality analytics applications using Python, following DevOps and cloud development best practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality
- Work with SQL databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data
- Leverage data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for data exploration and manipulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science) to deliver solutions
Required Skills
- Full time Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 4-8 years of experience in Python programming
- At least 2-3 years of experience in developing and deploying analytics applications
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with web development frameworks (Django or Flask preferred)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., unittest, pytest)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
