Job Description
Junior PX Developers to support development activities in Product Xpress (PX), which is used for designing Life Insurance products, medical rules, and business rules. The role involves development, project support, and application maintenance across multiple phases of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure insurance products, business rules, and medical rules in Product Xpress (PX).
- Support end-to-end project delivery, including requirement understanding, development, testing, and deployment.
- Prepare and track project timelines and development milestones.
- Provide UAT support, including defect analysis, fixing, and coordination with business users.
- Provide Application Maintenance Support (AMS) for live products and ongoing enhancements.
- Analyze issues reported from production/UAT and provide timely resolution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Business, QA, Core Systems, and Operations.
- Ensure adherence to product guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal processes.
- Maintain proper technical documentation and change records.
Technical Skills Required
- Hands-on experience in Python development.
- Basic understanding of rule-based systems or configuration-driven applications.
- Knowledge of SDLC, UAT processes, and production support.
- Exposure to Life Insurance domain (preferred but not mandatory).
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL preferred).
Educational Qualification
- Engineering Graduate (BE/BTech) or
- MSc in IT / Computer Science or equivalent technical background.
Experience Profile
- 1-2 years of experience in application development, preferably in insurance, BFSI, or rule-based platforms.
- Freshers with strong Python skills and relevant project exposure may also be considered.
