Overview
Kimirica Hunter International, India's leading manufacturer of luxury hotel amenities, is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager – Non-Capex to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials, intermediates, packaging, and consumables. This role will be responsible for developing supplier strategies, driving cost optimization, ensuring supply continuity, and strengthening vendor partnerships to support manufacturing and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end sourcing of non-capex items including raw materials, intermediates, packaging materials, and consumables
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business, production, and quality requirements
- Identify, evaluate, onboard, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness and supply assurance
- Drive commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and long-term rate agreements with vendors
- Collaborate with production, quality, R&D, and finance teams to understand demand forecasts and technical specifications
- Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery; initiate corrective actions when required
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternate sourcing, localization, and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, quality standards, audit requirements, and budgets
- Track market trends, raw material price movements, and supply risks to proactively manage sourcing challenges
- Maintain accurate sourcing documentation, contracts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards
Key Requirements
- Experience: 6–10 years in sourcing/procurement of non-capex items (preferably FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, or manufacturing sector)
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, and cost optimization
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex commercial discussions
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, procurement tools, and advanced Excel/MIS reporting
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing categories in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive problem solver with a quality-first mindset
