Role Description
The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement processes, develop vendor relationships, and manage inventory to ensure the availability of quality materials at optimal costs. Daily responsibilities include negotiating supplier contracts, monitoring supply chain operations, evaluating supplier performance, and optimizing procurement strategies. This full-time position is based on-site at our facility in Pune and requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, vendor management, and negotiation skills
- Budgeting and cost control abilities with strong data analysis and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain supplier relationships
- Experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, and quality control processes
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Proven organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Previous experience in the electrical or automotive manufacturing sector will be advantageous
