With a team of 100+ professionals across manufacturing, projects, design, applications, software, controls, and sales, Anzo Controls is rapidly expanding its operations. To strengthen our supply chain and procurement operations, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of consumables, electrical components, and other required materials for manufacturing and projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers for electrical, mechanical, and consumable items.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as design, production, projects, and stores to understand purchase requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, RFQs, and vendor comparisons.
- Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Track and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor databases, quotations, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores to ensure availability of critical consumables and components.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance evaluation to ensure quality and reliability.
- Resolve issues related to material shortages, delays, or quality concerns in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Support cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and maintain proper documentation.
Key Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or engineering companies.
- Experience in purchasing electrical items, consumables, and industrial components.
- Good understanding of vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supply chain coordination.
- Familiarity with purchase order processes, quotations, and vendor comparisons.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical and mechanical components is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic ERP/purchase management systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple vendors and purchase requests.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred (relevant experience is valued at Anzo Controls).
